RFTRA is the umbrella group for all local Tenants & Residents Associations plus Community Voices across the Town of Reading. It exists to promote the interests and rights of all tenants’ and residents’ associations within Reading and to promote the right of tenants and residents to exercise control over their housing and environment. To assist on other matters relating to tenants and residents where applicable.
Comprehensive reference library/information point. Free use of photocopier/fax machine/ access to Internet. Training support and financial assistance in producing posters, flyers, leaflets and newsletters. Regular mailings to all our members with information which covers current issues relating to where you live.
Primary beneficiaries: - Tenants & Residents of Reading incorporating: Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) - planned maintenance group for tenants to attend only.
Joint Environment Committee (JEC) - for all residents to attend.
