Reading Frontline serves the community by providing expert assistance to those who are disadvantaged by the burden of debt, often through no fault of their own. We also specialise in offering independent, expert benefit advice. The Frontline group has been awarded a quality mark by the Legal Services Commission for general help with debt and benefit casework.

Our volunteer advisors have many years experience working in this field, often laising with government and other agencies to provide a totally confidential, free service to anyone in need, regardless of background or belief. Reading Frontline is supported by project management and supervision from the main Frontline Office.

Frontline's vision is to expand this work by training more volunteers to work within their own communities, supported by Frontline as necessary. To this end, we have assisted in the setting up of similar offices in four counties in the south of England and trained individuals who have gone on to work with other organisations or independently.
