The REME Museum of Technology is the Museum of the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Its aim is to preserve the heritage of the Corps. The Corps was formed in October 1942 during the 2nd World War. The REME Museum of Techology reflects the role of REME; to maintain, recover and repair Army equipments, vehicles, aeronautical, electrical, electronic, optics, medical, dental and control equipment. It illustrates the trades and skills REME has provided in maintaining and developing modern military technology since 1942.
Collections include vehicles, medals, uniforms, weapons, and electronic items and are held at the museum together with The Corps Archive.
The museum has a thriving Education Service, and a calendar of family events throughout the year.
