Our vision is for a society where fewer people end their own lives. Samaritans provide a unique confidential emotional support system for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those that may lead to suicide. We do this on the telephone, by email and in schools, workplaces, prisons and hospitals with the elderly, young, homeless, and isolated. We do this to make a real difference 24 hours a day, every day.
